Welcome to the Rose Garden Bed and Breakfast! This turn of the century Arts and Crafts Victorian is located in the historic Maplewood area of Rochester. It was built in 1907, by Frederick and Jennie Cross of the Cross Brothers & Co., dealers of leather belts. The Innkeepers, Cindy and Lou Rossi have lived in their home since 2004 and have lovingly restored it to its original splendor.
We are a short walk to the beautiful Maplewood Park and Rose Garden. This nationally accredited garden features more than 3,000 rosebushes, two gazebos, mature trees and seating/picnic tables to enjoy the scenery. The bridge nearby has scenic views of two waterfalls in the Genesee River Gorge. Each June during the peak bloom time, the Rose Festival is celebrated and in October, the garden plays host to River Romance.
